Tamer Hosny
As a singer, actor, composer, and film-director, Tamer Hosny –the Prince of Youth-oriented Song—began his musical career as early as adolescence. He released his first album in 2001 and made his first steps in cinema in 2003 with a film Halet Hob (A State of Love). In 2004, his hit Hobb (Love) sold as many as 700,000 copies. In 2007, Tamer launched a 3rd Opus and alternated with such films as Omar and Salma 1 and 2 and Captain Hima. All told, Tamer has released 16 albums. He has also received several distinctions and awards. As far as collaborations are concerned, Tamer took part in the song titled Boukra (or, Tomorrow) which was produced by Quincy Jones and RedOne. He also collaborated with a number of international artists, notably: Pitbull, Akon, Snoop Dogg, and Shaggy.
