Poly-Rhythmo is one of the largest African orchestras and is in its fifth decade, the oldest orchestra of the continent still in operation. The band is structured around influences from traditional Beninese music, soul and American funk, Nigerian Afrobeat, Congolese rumba, Ghanaian high-life and Afro-Cuban rhythms.
