Achievements
Created in 2001, Maroc Cultures is a non-profit association that works towards the development and democratisation of culture, in line with the vision initiated by His Majesty King Mohammed VI. Recognised as being of public utility, Maroc Cultures has as its main mission the creation of a cultural and artistic offering for the audiences of the Rabat-Salé-Zemmour-Zaër region. It is thus behind several events, the main ones being the Mawazine — Rhythms of the World festival and the Génération Mawazine music competition. To carry out its actions, the Association relies on a team of around twenty figures and professionals from various fields of activity. This plurality of expertise, combined with the collaboration of local companies, has allowed Maroc Cultures, for fifteen years, to offer national-scale events that position Morocco as a benchmark in the entertainment industry and the performing arts.
