Gnawa Art Lux was created in Rabat in 2016 by Maâlem Issam Art, whose real name is Issam Baououssi. Issam was first trained by the late Maalem Mohamed Al Assri (nicknamed maalem Zambar), as well as the maâlems Abdul Qadir and Hamid El Kasri. Gnawa Art Lux has participated in many festivals in Morocco and abroad and presents a 100% gnaoui show, accompanied by saxophone and percussion.
