Nicknamed “the Sun of Arab Song,” Lebanese singer Najwa Karam is one of the most popular artists in the Middle East. She has sold upwards of 60 million records in the world, with each album becoming a best-seller. Najwa Karam recorded her first opus in 1986. Perfectionist in her fiber, she undertook training in a school of music in Beirut and in 1989 she moved on to conquer the Arab scene with such titles as Ya Hbayb (O, Beloved Ones); Ma Bismalak (I Won’t Forgive You); Naghmet El-Hub (Love Tune) and Hazzi Helou (Sweet are my Fortunes). In 1994, Najwa Karam signed a contract with the Rotana Label. Since then, this young lady has earned a large number of awards and recognitions.
