International Stage / OLM Souissi

OLM Souissi

The OLM Souissi is considered as the stronghold of international music and the main place for popular gatherings that are the secret of Mawazine. In this stage, the most famous and anticipated artists perform, most often in front of hundreds of thousands festival-goers. Gathered in an exceptional site that is close to one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Rabat, the public of OLM Souissi meets every year with the greatest performers of all styles in the planet.

Oriental Stage/ Nahda Space

Espace Nahda

No stage better reflects Mawazine's passion for Arabic music. Dedicated entirely to the region's artists, the Nahda Space welcomes the greatest oriental voices and gathers more than Tens of thousands people in every concert. Having a magic and comfortable setting, the stage offers the festival-goers a unique opportunity to discover the best of the modern and classical repertoire of the region.

African Stage / Bouregreg

Bouregreg

Built on a paved esplanade which offers a stunning view over the Kasbah of Oudayas (World Heritage of UNESCO), the Bouregreg stage is named after the eponymous river that stretches majestically along the site. Here, in the heart of Rabat, the fans of African music meet to dance to the rhythms of the most beautiful sounds of the black continent.

Moroccan Stage / Sale

Scène de Salé

Dedicating the half of its schedule to the Kingdom's artists, Mawazine made Salé a meeting point for all fans of Moroccan music. Over the bank of the Bouregreg, an exceptional site with a magnificent view over the river and Rabat, the Salé stage is a unique boost for the young talents of the country and it devotes time to the greatest figures of the national repertoire. Modern and traditional, the repertoire includes all styles of music: Gnawa, Chaabi, amazigh, rap, rock and reggae.

Small Stages



These three stages have won over, since the creation of the Festival, a connoisseur and music loving passionate public. Such a refined taste is rewarded by quality performers of traditional world music. Concerts are accessible at a fee.

World Music / Historical site of Chellah

Site Historique du Chellah

World Heritage of UNESCO, the Chellah site is the image of Mawazine, a festival that looks forward to the future and pays tribute to the most beautiful musical traditions of the planet. Located on a poetic place that is suitable for dreaming and escaping, the Chellah stage welcomes every year the greatest performers of traditional music from the four corners of the world on the occasion of some unforgettable concerts in which the public discovers repertoires that are sometimes ancestral and that did not lose their strength, audacity or mystery.

Discovery / Mohammed V National Theater

Théâtre National Mohammed V

It is rare to find a place that has hosted so many legendary concerts. Symbol of the cultural life in Rabat, the National Theater of Mohammed V witnessed unique moments in the history of Mawazine. Its scenery, its intimate atmosphere and the beauty of the sounds that come from it make this stage one of the favorite places of Moroccan stars and international celebrities who visit the capital.

Tarab / The Renaissance Cultural Center

La Renaissance

Located on the center of Rabat, the Renaissance is frequented by all music lovers. Renewed recently, this concert hall offers ever year a complete view of the most beautiful traditional music coming from Morocco, the Maghreb and the Middle East. Welcoming singers and groups from all the region, the Renaissance largely contributes in promoting the musical diversity of the Arab heritage and offers a unique visibility to the greatest talents of the repertoire.
